DIRECTOR OF COACHING, JEFF KNITTEL

Was virtually unstoppable in high school and led Chittenango to the 1994 state Class B championship.

Knittel scored 152 career goals (still second in the state record books) and had 122 career assists (first in state).

Was named the 1994 NSCAA national high school Player of the Year and was a three-time high school All-American.

Played on the U-17 U.S. Men’s National Team from 1992-94.

Went to Syracuse University, where he was a four-year starter for the Orange, with 25 goals and 21 assists in 74 matches.

Named the Big East Rookie of the Year as a freshman and earned All-Region honors all four years. Was an All-Big East selection as a junior and senior. Led the Orange as a senior with 11 goals and 8 assists and was SU’s MVP.

Played professionally with the Lehigh Valley Steam and the Syracuse Salty Dogs.

Coached at Fulton High School and led the Raiders to a 2005 state championship.
